Making home improvements to a front entrance 'can make an impact'

Tool hire users are being urged to make home improvements to their hallways, especially if they are currently very plain.
Pamela Natukunda told the Daily Monitor that a front entrance can have a major impact of how people will perceive the look and feel of a whole home.
She believes that many homeowners choose to leave this part plain but, by adding a tall plant, this room could start to feel cosier.
Also looking at adding a small table, just big enough to have an impact without clogging up too much space, is also a tip given by Ms Natukunda.
She said: "This will not only add character but can also be used to place your bags, keys and groceries when you first get home."
Finishing the look by placing a vase on the table or a mirror above is also advised, as well as adding a shoe rack so that the room is not too crammed with items.
Kate Watson-Smyth also believes that painting a room is another way of changing the look of a home and is cheap, too, the Independent has reported.
