Go for home improvements 'that can be removed if necessary'

Tool hire users looking to carry out home improvements are being advised to stay away from items that can either not be removed later, or doing so will cause a mess and hassle.
Linda Page, from Prudential Palms Reality, told the Herald Tribune that getting furniture and nailed, glued or screwed it onto the property might only look good to the current homeowner.
She claimed that it could then have negative long term effects, especially where house selling is concerned, so alternatives may be the safer option.
Ms Page warned: "Paint and wallpaper are cheap, but if you start adding fixed items that are very overdone or very unique to your taste, it is going to hurt you."
Ian Reeves, son of Keith Reeves, who is the president and founder of the Architects Design Group, says that, where painting is concerned, going for blue offers a soothing feel to a room, whereas pink paint can make a room feel fun and calm, but people commonly want to get out of a room of this colour.
Another tip that could make for great designs in the home is to blend shades that are opposite each other on a colour wheel, like orange and blue, according to Caroline Newsome of D & C Interiors, who was talking to the Telegraph.
