Tips for constructing a conservatory

Homeowners who are planning on seeking out skip hire to help with their construction of a conservatory have been advised to make the most of the space available.
Interior designer George Bond believes that there are many ways that families can make such a structure look expansive.
For instance, he recommends fitting a large mirror across the back wall of the conservatory, as this can easily bring the garden into the room, a design which he has seen put to good use in the past.
"It was almost like having a picture on the wall. During the seasons, that picture changes and it looks incredible," Mr Bond explained.
Once the conservatory has been constructed, the expert pointed out that a tile cutter could be used to great effect when putting the final touches to the room.
"You can have a nice tiled floor and if you have the tiles diagonally, it pushes the tiles out," he noted.
Graham Lock, director of Housenetwork.co.uk, was also keen to point out recently that a conservatory can be used as "a way of [making] your house stand out".
