At HSS, you’ll find a wide range of sanders and polishers for sale from quality brands such as Black & Decker, DeWalt, Flex Power Tools, Makita, Milwaukee and Metabo.

For a quick and easy way to smooth a surface an electric sander will speed up the job. You can use a sander to prep a wooden surface, smooth a vertical wall, even help to remove paint. You will need to adjust the grade of the sandpaper depending on the surface you are working on and the finish you require. We offer a choice of belt, orbital, detail, multi and long reach corded and cordless sanders.

Belt sanders are perfect when you have a large, flat area to manage such as floorboards or decking, and variable speeds will allow adjustment for the material being worked on. An orbit sander is perfect for smaller flat areas such as doors, or tables, and also for removing thin layers of varnish or paint. Look out for lightweight, one-handed operation for easier use when working overhead.
A detail sander will help for those more intricate pieces of sanding work that require optimal control.
Long-reach, or giraffe sanders, are specifically designed for drywall applications allowing the job to be done at speed. They are also ideal for sanding joints on plaster walls and harder to reach areas like ceilings.
Integrated dust bags will help with keeping the workspace clean however we also offer a range of dust extraction tools.

Whether you are looking to brighten up high-gloss furniture, remove swirls or scratches, quickly polish your car to a mirror finish, or buff a wax coating, then an electric polisher is the right tool. We also offer dual-action sander/polishers which combine the practicality of having both a sanding and a polishing tool in a single power unit.
