Choose a ground teeth blade if you are after a clean, straight cut. A reverse tooth blade (also known as a worktop blade) cuts on the down stroke, it is not suited to a pendulum action but when you need to see where you are cutting, are generally cutting in a straight line, and want to keep the top surface of a laminate clean, then this is the blade you will need. For cutting ceramic tiles, fibreglass or reinforced plastic take a look at our ceramic blades. If you need a metal cutting blade, choose one made from toughened material HSS high speed steel. For thicker materials you will need a longer blade to get a deeper cut.
