1. Promoter

The promoter of this promotion is HSS ProService Limited, Building Two, Think Park, Manchester, M17 1FQ (the "Promoter").

2. The Competition

The title of the competition is ‘Autumn Garden Jobs’.

3. How to Enter

3.1. The competition will run from 00:01 on 21st September 2026 (the "Opening Time") to 23:59 on 12th October 2026 (the "Closing Time").

3.2. All competition entries must be made before the Closing Time. All competition entries received after the Closing Time are automatically disqualified.

3.3. To enter the competition, you must:

3.3.1. follow the Promoter’s social account on Instagram (@HSS.DIY) ("Promoter Account"); and
3.3.2. share the post to your social account on Instagram and describe the Autumn project you are going to tackle in the comments section.

3.4. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.

3.5. The Promoter will not accept:

3.5.1. responsibility for competition entries that are corrupted, not successfully completed or transmitted, lost, or delayed, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any failure of or error with a website or social media account, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, website, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
3.5.2. evidence of following or tagging a Promoter Account as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.

3.6. By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. Eligibility

4.1. The Promotion is open only to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, except:

4.1.1. employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
4.1.2. employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
4.1.3. members of the immediate families or households of the persons mentioned in Condition 4.1.1 or Condition 4.1.2.

4.2. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.

4.3. The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:

4.3.1. automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications);
4.3.2. completed by third parties or in bulk;
4.3.3. illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
4.3.4. incomplete.

4.4. There is a limit of one entry to the competition per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

4.5. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the competition.

5. The Prize

5.1. The prize is over £350 worth of gardening products. There is one prize to win.

5.2. The prize consists of 1 x Fiskars XL leaf rake (TB14215), 1 x Webb Classic 33cm (13″) electric lawn mower (EQ26385), 1 x Fiskars Plus bypass pruner (TB35065), 1 x Webb 26cc 58cm double sided petrol hedge trimmer (EQ26391), and 1 x Gro-Sure multi-purpose lawn seed 120m2 (BM004705).

5.3. There is no cash alternative for the prize.

5.4. The prize is not negotiable or transferable.


6. The Winner

6.1. The winner will be selected at random from eligible entries that were received before the Closing Time.

6.2. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

6.3. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will publish the surname and county of the prize winner via the Promoter Account before 16th October 2026 ("Announcement Date").

6.4. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at marketingmailbox@hss.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

7. Claiming the Prize

7.1. The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the social media account used by the winner to enter the competition.

7.2. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not contacted the Promoter within 10 working days of the date that the Promoter first contacted or attempted to contact the winner, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize.

7.3. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.


7.4. The prize may be delivered to the winner in one or more separate deliveries.

8. Limitation of Liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.


9. Data Protection and Publicity

The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the hss.com. See also Condition 6.3 and Condition 6.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.

10. General

10.1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

10.2. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

10.3. These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this competition wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.

3.2To enter the competition, you must:

3.2.1 Create an account of HSS DIY (https://www.hss.com) ("Promoter Account"); and

3.2.2 Verify the account and log in successfully.

3.3 No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.

3.4 The Promoter will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are corrupted, not successfully completed or transmitted, lost, or delayed, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any failure of or error with a website or social media account, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, website, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or

3.5 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

6.1 The winner will be selected at random from eligible entries that were received before the Closing Time.

6.2 The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

7. Claiming the Prize
