Pavetuf Priming Slurry 17kg

Pavetuf priming slurry is designed to bond new mortar bases to paving materials. It creates a strong & durable connection for patios, driveways, paths and other landscaping projects.

This priming slurry is highly versatile and can be used with natural stone, porcelain, concrete flags and clay pavers.

The slurry is mixed with water & applied to the underside of paving slabs before laying them onto the mortar bed.

For best results, apply the slurry at a thickness of 1mm–2mm before placing the paving.

A 17kg tub of slurry covers approximately 12m², depending on the paving material and application thickness.

Priming slurry improves the bond strength between paving and the mortar base, preventing movement, cracking, or lifting over time.

Yes, Pavetuf priming slurry works with porcelain as it's non-porous & difficult to bond. This product has an exceptionally strong adhesive layer for a reliable fixing.

Yes, the slurry can be used in both domestic and light commercial projects, offering durability in areas with moderate foot and vehicle traffic.

The slurry is ready to use within minutes - simply add water and mix until smooth.

The slurry is best applied in dry conditions for maximum bond strength. Avoid use during heavy rain or when frost is expected.

No specialist tools are needed for applying the slurry. A brush or trowel can be used to spread it evenly onto the paving.

The slurry is designed for traditional paving systems with a mortar base. For permeable paving, consult installation guidelines before use.

While mortar provides support, this priming slurry creates a chemical and mechanical bond with paving, significantly reducing the risk of delamination or failure.

Store the sealed tub of leftover slurry in a cool, dry place. Once mixed with water, it should be used immediately and not stored for later use.

Pavetuf products are designed to be safe for outdoor use when applied according to instructions.
