What is the main use of the 2000kg pallet truck?

It is designed for moving palletised goods quickly and efficiently, reducing the need for manual lifting and improving productivity in warehouses, factories, and retail environments.

What is the maximum load capacity?

The pallet truck has a safe working load of 2000kg (2 tonnes), making it suitable for heavy-duty applications.

What are the dimensions of the pallet truck?

It measures 1m in height, 1.22m in length, and 0.52m in width, with a lifting height of 200mm.

How heavy is the truck itself?

The pallet truck weighs 68kg, providing stability while still being manoeuvrable.

How manoeuvrable is this model?

It features tough nylon wheels and can turn up to 180 degrees, making it ideal for tight spaces and busy warehouse aisles.

What type of pallets can it handle?

With a fork width of 520mm, it is suitable for standard Euro pallets and many common pallet sizes.

How is the load raised and lowered?

The truck uses a hydraulic pump mechanism, operated by the handle, to lift and lower pallets smoothly and safely.

Is this pallet truck suitable for outdoor use?

It is primarily designed for indoor use on smooth floors. It can be used outdoors on flat, solid ground, but is less suitable for rough or uneven surfaces.

What safety precautions should be taken when using it?

Wear steel-toe boots and protective gloves. Always check that loads are stable, do not exceed the 2T capacity, and ensure the path is clear before moving pallets.

Do I need training to use a pallet truck?

While formal training is not always required, manual handling awareness and safe use instruction are recommended to prevent accidents and ensure correct operation.

What kind of vehicle is needed to transport this pallet truck?

At its size and weight, you will need at least a truck-sized vehicle for collection and transport.

What are the advantages of using a pallet truck over manual handling?

A pallet truck allows heavier loads to be moved safely and efficiently, reducing strain on workers and helping to comply with health and safety regulations.

Are there powered versions of pallet trucks available?

Yes. While this model is manual, powered pallet trucks are also available, which reduce physical effort further and are suited for high-volume or long-distance material handling.

What industries commonly use pallet trucks?

They are widely used in warehousing, logistics, retail, factories, and construction supply chains, wherever palletised goods need moving.

Can this pallet truck be used on ramps?

It can handle gentle slopes, but caution should be taken with heavier loads. For steeper gradients, a powered pallet truck or forklift may be more appropriate.
