If you are fixing slates on pitched roofs then take a look at our copper clout nails which are long-lasting and rust-resistant. Clout nails with a galvanised zinc finish are perfect for when durability and added protection against the elements is needed. To reduce the chances of battens splitting due to their narrow gauge, choose from our range of batten nails which are designed specifically for fixing roofing battens. Ideal for securing bitumen felt on a shed roof, or to secure weed membrane to battens before rolling out artificial grass, felt nails are ideal as they have a large head which distributes the load directly underneath the top of the nail, reducing the risk of tearing and ensuring that the bond stays firm.

These nails are made of galvanised steel for increased resistance to corrosion, making them ideal for outdoor applications.
