Product name:  Elite 5 KVA Power Tool Rated Transformer

Product code:  EQ27514

The Elite 5 KVA Power Tool Rated Transformer is a robust 5kVA portable site transformer designed to step down standard UK 240V mains electricity into a safer 110V reduced low-voltage supply. This voltage reduction is essential for operating heavy-duty corded power tools and site lighting on construction projects, minimizing the risk of severe electrical shocks in harsh working environments.

It features a 5kVA intermittent power rating for high-drain power tools and a continuous rating of roughly 2.8kVA to 3.0kVA. It is equipped with an internal aluminium coil design alongside multiple output sockets, specifically two 110V 16 Amp sockets and one 110V 32 Amp socket, allowing users to power various high-drain tools and site lighting simultaneously.

Housed in a hard-wearing, weather-resistant Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) case with an IP44 rating, engineered to withstand demanding outdoor conditions. It includes integrated thermal overload protection with a manual reset button to ensure safe, reliable performance in demanding outdoor and industrial environments.
