Our floor sander hire range
The upright drum floor sander is the workhorse for any room over a few square metres. Its 8-inch sanding drum quickly removes old varnish, paint, stains and surface damage from softwood and hardwood floorboards. For the edges and corners the drum sander can't reach, the floor edging sander takes over — ideal for finishing right up to skirting boards, stair treads, wardrobes and tight spaces. Hiring both together in a floor sander kit is the most cost-effective way to do a whole room or house.
What flooring can I use a floor sander on?
Our floor sanders work on traditional l tongue and groove floorboards, reclaimed boards, parquet and wood block flooring. They are suitable for most engineered wood flooring. They are not suitable for laminate, vinyl or LVT.
