Floor Sander
If you are looking to give old wood floorboards, block wooden floors or traditional parquet a new lease of life then take a look at our heavy-duty Floor Sander to help get the job done with ease. The drum floor sander removes old finishes and most decorative stains, and levels imperfections ready for polishing or varnishing. Whilst the heavy-duty high-speed motor prevents the floor sander from stalling or slowing down when using coarse grit floor sheets.
Edging Sander
Ideal for confined areas such as closets, stair treads and sanding right up to the edge of a floor (edge sanding), our floor edging sander delivers the power to tackle the toughest of jobs, without damage to the base board, mouldings or skirting.
Sanding to a high quality, score-free finish on hard and soft woods, including parquet and any solid wood surface that requires rapid sanding and levelling, restore your flooring ready for a new coat of varnish, polish or paint. It also saves you time and takes the pain out of doing it by hand leaving you with a professional finish.

The difference between grit sheets is the finish and effect they have on materials. The higher the number, the finer the grit sheet is whereas the coarseness increases as the grit sheet number lowers. For example, you may need to begin with coarser sandpaper for wood to remove tough varnishes and level your floor before coming down to a fine paper that ensures a smooth finish.
No, this sander can't be used on the edges of your room but the floor edging sander can. The floor edging sander is designed for getting close to skirting boards & edges easier than a standard sander. Using both tools for your flooring project will give you a clean, professional finish.
You can hire both the floor & edging sander together as a hire pack.
The sander is a 240V tool that can be plugged into the mains. An RCD plug is recommended for optimum safety but not mandatory.
