Swarfega Duck Oil is a multi-purpose, silicone-free, non-conductive spray that can be bought online at HSS. You can use it as a penetrating oil to lubricate items from vehicle machinery to door hinges, or for insulating electrical items strengthening the electrical connections. The low surface tension of the oil means you can lubricate without needing to dismantle parts, or you can use it as a releasing agent to help you loosen parts if required. The light film that is left when used acts as a protective barrier helping to prevent corrosion and rust build up for up to 12 months, ideal for cleaning and protecting metal parts of equipment that is used outdoors. It can also be used as a light degreaser and to aid damp starting of motors.
